Work has largely consisted of property evaluations and acquisitions, field studies, secondary unit reports and follow-up with appropriate government agencies, oil and gas commission hearings, coordination and supervision of support personnel (i.e., geologists, engineers, landmen, attorneys), prospect generation, and well site duties.

 

Independent Consulting Geologist

Consulting Geologist, 1987-1999

Worked on part time retainer with North Finn (1987-1994), a small independent oil and gas operator, and continued to consult for others as well. Work was varied, but has largely consisted of the following: property evaluations and acquisitions, field studies, secondary unit reports and follow-up with appropriate government agencies, oil and gas commission hearings, supervision of support personnel (i.e., geologists, engineers, landmen, attorneys), prospect generation, and well site duties. Since 1994, work has been primarily large projects such as coalbed methane in the Powder River Basin, stratigraphy of the Wind River Basin, and field studies.
